Madeira is a fortified wine made on the island of Madeira and Sercial is the driest of all Madeira styles made from the Sercial grape variety. Sercial is one of the four recognised styles of this wine, the others being Verdelho, Bual and Malvasia (Malmsey). A privately owned company dating back to 1850, Henriques & Henriques is the largest independent producer of Madeira.
